not many people play the Nikolai over 100 games. I seal clubbed hard enough I ended up #3 on the Nikolai players list at one time. I ended up with a pile of new OP ships and really upped my WR, seal-clubbing with the likes of the Nikolai, Gremy and Kamikaze. Shortly after that the Christmas crates dropped for 2016. I learned a lot of deeper mechanics from these players, things like overmatch and penetration mechanics. "If I'm a dd, I have to cap that cap in front of me, and if I die, oh well." My survival rate was abysmal, in the high 20's even with my win rate in the low 50's.Īt about 800 battles I joined a clan in November of 2016 and started playing regularly with players that had more experience at the game than me. I had a philosophy that I had to do what was needed despite what my team was doing. So, I knew how to play and I knew how to win games, but perhaps didn't go about it in the right ways. I was running around 53%-54% at that time. Around this time (350 games) I realized that there were stats that told me how well I did in game. I had to get onto youtube and figure out for myself what the game neglected to tell me. I knew nothing of angling, citadels, spotting, etc. I'd get deleted by every new ship and weapon I came across: DD's, BB's, carriers, you name it, torpedoes, smoke firing, radar. HI THERE, I'M BILLY MAYS Ducky_shot and here is how I got better at Warships.
